Today we introduced two new literary terms: satire and parody. We worked through definitions of each and began to consider how they work. Please see me if you missed notes from this class.

We watched Rick Mercer's "New Beer" spot and considered elements of satire and parody in the text.

We will begin to read The Physicists next week. The work will be done in class, so you will not need to sign out books.
